Willow Cottage sleeps five in comfort (additional cot and sofa-bed available). It is set in a quiet rural location off a private drive. The cottage has a large lounge with a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is equipped with a family dining table, electric cooker and double drainer sink, electric toaster, kettle and radio/CD player. The utility has a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher with a door leading onto the patio. Garden furniture and bar-b-que are available in the summer months.
The bathroom has an electric razor point with a light over the mirror, toilet, washbasin and bath with an electric shower over the bath. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one single with wardrobe and dressing table, one double with wardrobe, chest of drawers, television and clock radio. Upstairs there is a twin bedded room with wardrobe, chest of drawers and television. All beds are fitted with duvets, with bed linen and towels supplied.
The cottage is surrounded by lawns with a patio and drying area at the rear of the property. There is ample parking for three cars. Birds and wildlife are in abundance, with badgers, foxes and deer being regular visitors. Woodpeckers, owls, pheasants, tits, yellow hammers, willow warblers and many more species visit the garden.
The village inn, which serves excellent food, is just ¾ mile away, a pleasant quiet walk on a summer's evening. The neighbouring village of Snitterfield, approximately two miles away, has a very well stocked shop selling newspapers and groceries (including vegetables and meat).
Warwick and its castle, Stratford upon Avon and The Royal Shakespeare Theatre are 10 minutes away by car. The NAC, NEC, NIA and Birmingham are easily accessible by car or train, Warwick Parkway station being 15 minutes by car. The Cotswolds and many stately homes are within a short driving distance. The area has many footpaths and bridleways that have spectacular views.
